Kana Yokomizo is a plain and unremarkable bookworm girl with a passion for reading. One day, she tried reading light novels; this in turn lead her to try anime, explore games, and eventually begin attending events. It didn’t take long for her to fully embrace her inner fujoshi. That was when she started getting into cosplay. Originally, she was your typical bookworm girl who wore no makeup and wore but plain clothes. And no wonder to anyone, she had no friends and no boyfriend. Her only escape was the imaginary worlds within books, but after attending events, her social circle began to grow. When she at the encouragement of others tried to cosplay herself, the reactions were beyond anything she could have imagined. It became an addiction and now she even works as an amateur model. Of course, in her everyday life, she’s still the same demure, plain bookworm. The person she becomes while cosplaying is unrecognizable to those who knew her before.
