One day, on her way to school, she spots a bug she's never seen before. After class, Ruri and her best friend Kanna go exploring and spot the new species of insect on its way into the Ikezoe Pharmaceuticals Factory. At first, Ruri gets turned away from investigating, but she can't let it go and sneaks into the factory at night. But inside, the whole place is crawling with grotesque insects...
